Ash The Grey

A Dark Shadow of a familiar shrouds theses plains.  A watchful eye learns.  A playful fist clenches its prize.  A grinning smile whispers a gentle breath.

"Never ahead, ever behind,
Yet flying swiftly past;
For a child I last forever,
For adults I'm gone too fast."

"A harvest sown and reaped on the same day
In an unplowed field,
Which increases without growing,
Remains whole though it is eaten
Within and without,
Is useless and yet
The staple of nations."

"If you break me
I do not stop working,
If you touch me
I may be snared,
If you lose me
Nothing will matter."
